The board has decided to pause new memberships, membership renewals and club activities for the first half of the year.
Why?
The club has changed a lot since COVID and there are a lot of structural things we need to focus on (like liability insurance, 501(c)(3) nonprofit status and education programs). We can’t do that work while also planning meetings, forays, events and welcoming new members.
We have a strong financial foundation and spring mushrooms tend to be elusive. So, this is the best time of year to do this work.
What does this mean for you?
Everyone with an expired 2023 membership is being automatically extended to the end of 2024.
If you are a new member or already renewed your membership for 2024, we're extending those memberships through the end of 2025.
